Composition
Each 100 gm contains Amantadine HCl 10 gm.
Purpose & Indications
Amadine is an antiviral agent. It is most effective prophylactically or in the early stage of disease when viral replication is occurring. It interferes with the early stages of influenza virus-host cell interaction, either by blocking penetration of the virus through the cell membrane or by inhibiting viral uncoating.
Dosage & Administration
1 gm in 4 litres of drinking water for 3 to 5 days.
